ION Audio Tape Express
Cassettes are admit-ably a bit out of fashion, I mean since the ipod came, the walkman just isn’t the cool thing to have anymore. But there are still a lot of good old songs that you had on your cassettes and you wouldn’t just want to throw them away would you? There is a solution for you, it’s the ION Audio Tape Express. Essentially this little device which will run you around $80 is connected to your computer via USB and and you then “play” the cassette using the device and the software converts your old songs into new mp3 format. I reckon it would be a bit time consuming but does seem like a weekend project and would give the Ipod a touch of nostalgia with it as well.

Flash for Fun
Ever wanted to just have glow sticks all over your body but then when you walked to the club you just looked like a tool, well Diesel has the solution for you. Their new “flash for fun” line features jeans, shirts, underwear (what?) and sneakers that are coated with a special material that makes them glow in different patterns in black light, once the black light is out though the patterns disappear. prices accordign to OhGizmo! Men’s jeans seem to run around $150 (100 Euros) while tees are about $38

iPhone Photography
Ever felt like taking a self portrait with your iphone 3G or 3Gs but just couldn't get the damn thing to stand? (I haven't, but if you have, you are in luck) because Xshot came out with a new iphone case which has a standard tripod mount. The case is amde from "chrome plastic" whatever that is? And will run you about $30, it also comes with a 3rd party camera extender, or you can find your own camera app with a self timer, since you wont be able to be in the picture otherwise, nice idea, yet not thought through too well.

Gumball Foosball
Want to make your kids happy? Well I can't imagine any parent dropping the whopping asking price of $1500 on it. But if you happen to have some cash to blow, this is your childs dream. basically it is a foosball table where instead of a playing ball your kids play with gumballs. Your kid then gets his gumball by scoring into the opponents goal, so he has to work for that sweet. The machine comes filled with about 1700 gumballs, so after one huge party, you will either have a useless foosball table, or you can get them to refill it, probably for another grand.
