Right at the heart of the city, tucked away in a courtyard which used to be the leading opium refinery of the old Indochine, The Refinery is a French bistro with classy décor and refined eats. What marks the name in diners’ mind has lots to do with its setting. The understated décor is elegant art nouveau, giving a feel of intimacy while retro style of the tiles and furniture brings you back to a Paris bistro in 1940s. The patio area in the yard, decorated with leafy plants, is a much loved spot for intimate and relaxing eats and drinks.

EAT
The menu, while not dizzyingly long, introduces a handsome array of continental food, a great selection of light and filling options. From light café fare like salads and sandwiches to heartier items like the crab cakes, the flavor is fresh and palatable.
